Bio

I joined the local football club 30 years ago as a parent/volunteer at the U6 age group. Over the course of the following 2 seasons I took my first coaching qualifications. At U10 the squad was split to play 11 a side and I became manager/coach of the 2nd team with the players rejected for the 1st team. The 2nd team began in the bottom U10 division and progressed through the divisions to division 1 at U14. The team remained in division 1 until the team finished playing youth football at U18. I then managed/coached another team from u17 for the following 2 seasons.

During this time 1993/94 to 2007/08 I also became involved in the administration of the club and first became the disciplinary secretary and then combined this role with club secretary for 12 years. The club launched in 2008 a senior side providing players with continued football after U18 and I relinquished my roles with the youth part of the club. I became the seniors secretary, disciplinary secretary and fixtures secretary overseeing expansion into 3 senior sides and U18 floodlit.
